Mama Fox, I have no sympathy for an 18 year old who helps torment a 13 year old into suicide. An 18 year old is an ADULT, no different than Lori. Also, keep in mind that her last posting was made a month prior to Megan’s death, so her ‘depression’ was likely not out of shame or guilt for what she did. Besides, if Ashley Grills is so depressed, maybe she can atone for her crime by offing herself.

Lori Drew is the fattest human being in both pictures. In the top picture she is the lady in the white shirt between the guy in sunglasses and the young boy (God help him).
In the bottom picture she is the lady in the white shirt on the extreme left (our left).

I think the media is just as bad as the people involved in this. It will be a shame if there is any more self harm involved in this case. And anybody who wishes the death upon another- no matter the crime, is (in my opinion) just as bad. How many people have made up a fake profile? How many people have been picked on? How many people have picked on another? How often does it occur that someone commits suicide because of it? I’m not siding with anybody- I just think both sides should be heard.

It’s a fat girl thing.
Morbid obesity in women seems to be correlated to various psych disorders. They tend to be narcissistic and delusional, and often sociopathic.
Fat women think that only ‘big’ people have ‘big’ feelings and that all other women who don’t choose to eat themselves into 400 pounds have perfect lives and it is their duty to harass and bully anyone they perceive of as being happier, prettier or both to pay them back for existing. Fat women perceive slender women to be attacking them, simply by being alive. Maybe this woman attacked Megan because she was losing weight.
Fat women seem to believe that if all slender women would just die, then men would have to like them and being liked by men is the only thing in life that gives them value. I cannot begin to guess at all the overlapping layers of mental illness that incorporate these morbesities, but I can say recent studies have shown that fat girls in school are 5 times more likely to BE bullies than non-fat girls.

I am willing to believe that the true reason Lori Drew went out of her way to harass Megan Meiers was she couldn’t or was too fearful of her real nemesis- Tina Meier
Obses people are no different than drug addicts in some ways, if you really look at it. The only difference is one group needs food, and one needs drugs. They have a higher tendancy for antisocial behaviour due to poor lifestyle habits, and suffer from depression and emotional problems at a much higher rate than non addicts.
The Drew woman were infuraited when Megan made a break for it, and lost 20 pounds when she transferred schools. TheI am willing to bet Tina (the hot MILF) knew Lori’s daughter was giving Megan a hard time and Lori didn’t care way before any of this happened.
I believe Lori was really intent on getting back at Tina because she couldn’t stand the fact that Tina was skinny and attractive, while Lori was fat and repulsive. I am also inclined to believe that Curt may have had feelings for Tina, and Lori could see through that. What better way of getting back at Tina than to crush her vulnerable 13 year old daughter.
I bet Lori revelled in the fact that Tina lost a child, and miserable, and had no idea for six weeks that Lori was drunk with the sense that she made Tina, a healthier, and more attractive woman suffer.

All I can say is Tina Meier and her husband are incredibly strong people to have restrained themselves from seeking street justice. Luckily, no one died and people laughed it off years later. It’s amazing how much of this story has not been told… I’m trying to be understanding and unbiased but sometimes I get sucked one way or another. Coming from a once upon a time suicidal and self destructive girl- you don’t harm yourself because of one situation. It comes from a build up. Maybe this myspace thing did give it a bit of push… but maybe it was the very last push she needed. What if it were from a group of bullies at school? I’m not saying that justifies what this other family did, they should have been mature enough to know this wan’t right.

What would Megan think about all of this hate. I know she is in heaven and if she is looking down at all of this, I think she would want the hate and violence to stop. Yes, Lori Drew and Ashley did unspeakable acts but I don’t believe Megan would want this bitter anger to continue into violence.
Lori and Ashley will be judged when their time comes. They will never have peace within themselves. Don’t forgive them but leave them in peace.

I have worked with women like Lori Drew in the past - aging, getting fatter and more insecure with each passing day, and capable of horrible, horrible things. If she was engaging in correspondance of sexual nature with Megan then she is guilty of a sex offense. At least in more civilized parts of the nation. She must have friends in high places?

she deserves whatever’s coming to her and her family. even if she didn’t knowingly put those messages out.. she still bares as much of the responsiblity as the young woman who did for not being a real parent and advising against these kind of acts… she wants to sit back now and say (i never had anything to do with it) yet she knew what was going on. and being a mother of females i believe she should have stepped up and went against it which she didn’t… now her life is basically ruined and i wouldn’t think twice about wishing her family the worst. so the publicity is perfect because now her family is going through just as that young girls family is feeling their life being affected by this tragic event.

I’ve always been prone to sympathize with every side of a situation. But this Lori person is pure evil and whoever willing to defend her obviously doesn’t know all that she has done. She admitted to instigating the website in her police report against the Meiers. Then called the neighborhood girl who was encouraged to join, as Megan is being taken to the hospital!, to tell her to keep quiet about the website. Then pressing charges twice against the Meiers for petty and spiteful reasons, then finally telling Mrs. Meier to “give it a rest already” when it was finally getting the national attention it deserved. She is really just sick.

Actually I think ’sane person’ is Lori Mann who is also a psychotic, obese, mid-40s woman who makes ‘myspace teens’ to flirt with young boys and stalks people online in numerous aliases across numerous message board and blogs, often for years, in an attempt to make their lives as miserable as hers is.
She’s really big on blaming the victims for ‘forcing’ her to stalk them. She terrorized several of my favorite message board people completely off the internet and while I still post on my favorite now almost dead message board watching her stupid AEs go in and out trying to stalk even more people off the internet, I miss the ones she chased off daily. There seems to be no laws in place yet to deal with this type of cyber-harassment.
As another internet sociopath, it’s only natural for Lori to take Lori Drew’s side in this situation.

Yikes! Where did the fat people = evil bullies argument come from? I don’t think Drew being fat has anything to do with her being a sociopathic cretin. I think she’s just evil & being fat is coincidental.
I’m glad to finally see a face to the name. She looks deceptively normal, which will serve to remind me that evil comes in many forms. I can only hope that she continues to pay for her actions by being continuously snubbed & such until she really realizes how terrible what she did really was. It frightens me that someone can do something like this & have someone kill themselves as a result, yet not feel any true remorse. It scares me even more to know that she has a daughter that is probably going to end up just like her. I wish that her daughter would be taken away from her so she’d have the chance to be raised in a healthy home with parents who would never even dream of harming someone like that.

How can anyone even be in the same city with this woman? She is absolutely disgusting and I cannot believe she walked away with nothing done while a beautiful girl is dead. I know what taunting can do. My beautiful daughter endured it for years from kids her age. She made it through but last year, at 23, she was killed in a horrible wreck. Why is it some of you have to turn this into a fat versus thin issue? I am fat, I do not have the desire to do such despicable things as this women. I also am not the same as a “drug addict” with an addiction to food, many fat people have thyroid issues or slow metabolisms or flat out genetics contribute to it. I mean I was out raged and disgusted at what this women and her coworker did and as a mother it is heart breaking to see what what parent could do to another parents baby. Then I decided to read the comments and see if anyone else felt the same way as me. Instead I started to find this turn into a fat people are bad people debate. I am 230 plds and 5′ 10′ and by societies standards and by the BMI thing for weight verses height, me at a size 14-16 is considered OBESE. Its hard enough being criticized for something health related in some peoples cases like mine but for them to try to accuse us of all being sociopaths? Most fat people actually make up for it with personality and caring because we can see the value inside of people, not only what it on the outside. Just like some thin people. Sheesh, just hug your children tonight, be happy they were not the target of this horribly vicious women. I also pray you are not instilling your hatred for fat people into your children otherwise they could very well grow up to be a bigot against big people due to your blatant hatred of anything not condoned by the norm of society.

WHAT KIND OF MOM IS MEGANS MOM- IM TIRED OF HER. I know of people who have been charged for stupid shit because of their kid but because her depressed daughter(if she was mine I would be damned if I would let her go online and not monitor her - or so she says) killed herself. I feel bad for her but where is her parental responsibility. What Lori did was wrong and I am bettin that a lot of the people who post on her have ridiculed people in some way or another but come on people.
