i just got dismissed as a juror on this case today. they supposedly have a deadline of 9/23 to complete this trial. took 4 days to choose a jury!!

I just saw a show on A&E from 2006 about this. I was curious about the verdict so i got online. I was shocked to see the next hearing is 06/03/2010. This trial has gone on way too long

There was another hearing today. The next trial date is set for Feb. 22, 2010! He’s also had psych evaluations, which was then almost 3 years after the murder. A nice lawyer delay tactic. Next pre-trial hearing is Jan. 10. This is ridiculous! His poor family, having to go thru this! At least Rolle’s ass is still in jail.

Ronald Gentile was my great uncle. He was a great man. Always made people smile and laugh whenever he was around. But he cant do that anymore bcos of that man. I hope he goes to hell for what he did to our family. I dont understand how somebody could be so cruel. He didnt do anything to you. What if that was YOUR FATHER, YOUR BROTHER, YOUR HUSBAND, YOUR UNCLE!? I hope you get what you deserve.

JM, I have been checking on the trial through the Miami courts system website. I checked a few weeks ago and found the Rolle case postponed again–they keep scheduling pre-trial hearings. I’ll post any significant progress in the case on my blog when I learn of it.
