John Mackey Invests in Zaadz
Zaadz, the social network for spiritualists, announced today funding from John Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods. If you're some combination of Whole Foods junky, Buddhist, and reader of WIE magazine like me, this funding makes sense: Whole Foods is popular with the spiritual crowd, magazines like WIE and Yoga Journal are mainstays at WF checkout racks, and John Mackey is a proponent of social issues like "conscious capitalism."
